Product Description
The MAX7219 LED Dot Matrix 4-in-1 Display Module is a multiplexed, easy-to-control visual display composed of four 8×8 LED matrix panels driven by the widely supported MAX7219 driver IC. This module lets you display scrolling text, numbers, basic animations, and visual patterns with minimal wiring, thanks to the built-in controller that handles scanning and brightness control.
Communication with your microcontroller is done via a 5-pin interface (VCC, GND, DIN, CLK, CS), allowing daisy-chaining of multiple modules seamlessly. It’s compatible with platforms like Arduino, ESP32, STM32, and Raspberry Pi using libraries such as LedControl, MD_MAX72xx, or Adafruit GFX + GFX Matrix. Ideal for embedded projects, digital signage, clocks, counters, status indicators and more.
