Product Description
The Seeed Studio Grove Ultrasonic Ranger is a distance measurement sensor module that uses ultrasonic sound waves to detect the presence and distance of objects without physical contact. Equipped with a Grove 4-pin interface, it provides easy breadboard-free connection to Grove base shields for Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi (with adapter), and other microcontrollers.
The sensor emits ultrasonic pulses and times their echo to calculate the distance to obstacles within a typical measurement range. Because of its ease of integration and reliable performance, this ultrasonic ranger is widely used in robotics navigation, obstacle avoidance, level measurement, smart parking systems, and other proximity detection applications.
